The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

Financial Accounting
-Responsible for capturing monthly journals.
-Update cash book daily and reconciliation to be performed weekly/monthly.
-Submit cash flow (daily and weekly).
-Monthly VAT return and reconciliation.
-Monthly reconciliation, maintenance, and documentation for all balance sheet general ledger accounts.
-Maintain fixed asset registers.
-Assist with annual budgets.
-Assist with various audits.
-Ad hoc requests.

Manage Debtors
-Accurate and correct billing and processing of invoices.
-Ensuring completeness and correctness of all documents required for billing and processing of invoices.
-Ensure invoices are updated daily as per agreed timetable.
-Send invoices, credit notes and statements with supporting documents to customers timeously.
-Ensure statements are balanced and updated with payment.
-Communicate invoice queries and errors to customers and update relevant stakeholders.
-Manage the debtors age analysis.
-Provide precise and understandable debtors ageing comments.
-Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure that money is collected timeously.
-Ensure that COD accounts are followed up regularly for payment.
-Ensure that customers pay according to agreed terms.
-Accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
-Ensure that internal and external customers are always informed of the status of all accounts.

Manage Creditors
-All invoices processed and reconciled to statements received from suppliers,
-no un-accrued invoices at month end
-All month end deadlines are met per the agreed timetable sent out monthly basis.
-Ensure that creditors age analysis is kept up to date with all long outstanding amounts followed up.
-Send all Interco balance creditor confirmations monthly to group companies.

Qualification:
-Matric /Grade 12
-Degree in Accounting / Finance

Experience:
-A minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience in logistics and or similar role
-Finance experience/knowledge an advantage
