Forklift Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our client’s team. The role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store small, lightweight goods in warehouses, storage yards, or production facilities while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. “Small, lightweight goods” refers to items that can be safely lifted and transported by a single forklift operator.

Key Responsibilities
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
– Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and storage racks.
– Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or facility.
– Stack and organize products in storage areas to optimize space.
– Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
– Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping when required.
– Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.

Qualifications & Skills
– Valid forklift operator certification/license.
– At least 3 years of experience as a forklift operator.
– Good knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
– Ability to read and follow instructions, manifests, and labels.
– Physical stamina; able to carry small, lightweight loads safely.
– Situational awareness when operating machinery.
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

– Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
– Team player with good communication skills.
– Flexible to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
