Candidate will be responsible for managing the movement, storage, and delivery of our fish products both locally and internationally. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards, optimizing operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
– Plan, coordinate, and manage transportation and distribution of fish products.
– Supervise logistics staff, including drivers, warehouse personnel, and coordinators.
– Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
– Monitor inventory levels, cold storage management, and shipment schedules.
– Negotiate with transport providers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to optimize costs.
– Implement safety, regulatory, and quality procedures for storage and transportation.
– Track performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, preferably in the fish or seafood industry.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
– Knowledge of cold chain management and export regulations is an advantage.
– Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
– Strong analytical skills to monitor KPIs, optimize routes, and reduce operational costs.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, transporters, and clients.
– Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle challenges in fast-paced operations.
