Roles
• Supervising the staff who work in the operations, including hiring and training new staff members.
• Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance practices.
• Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
• Developing marketing strategies to promote the business and increase customer awareness of the services offered by the company.
• Coordinating with clients to create space plans for corporate conferences and seminars.
• Collaborating with other staff members to determine event schedules and other logistics such as food and beverage requirements.
• Coordinating with external vendors to provide rental equipment, supplies, and staff for corporate events.
• Reviewing contracts with clients to ensure accuracy of services and pricing.
• Creating budgets for all projects and ensuring that money is not spent on unnecessary expenses such as overtime pay for employees or additional supplies.
• Developing and implementing training programs for employees on proper etiquette for serving clients or handling difficult situations with customers.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
• At least two years of proven success in an operations management role
• Strong skills in budget development and oversight
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
• Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
• Aptitude for learning new business productivity software and application.
• Strong IT skills, including database development.
