Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control in our fish and seafood operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards, implement quality management systems, and lead the team in maintaining product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for fish and seafood products.
– Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing to ensure product quality, hygiene, and safety.
– Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant certifications.
– Lead, train, and mentor the QC/QA team to uphold quality standards consistently.
– Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
– Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the supply chain.
– Prepare reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement plans for management review.
– Stay updated on industry best practices, new regulations, and technological advancements in seafood quality management.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Fisheries, or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control/assurance in fish, seafood, or food processing industries.
– Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP, and local food safety regulations.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to analyze data, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
– Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
