A very reputable international company is looking for 2 driven Accounting Interns with an understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles, financial principles and terms. The interns should be ready for an immersive, real-world experience, expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about accounting software, and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.
Accounting Intern Responsibilities:
\u2022\tAssisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
\u2022\tPreparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
\u2022\tWorking with accounting software.
\u2022\tHandling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
\u2022\tLearning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
\u2022\tShadowing members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
\u2022\tTaking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Accounting Intern Requirements:
\u2022\tMust be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor\u2019s or Masters in Accounting.
\u2022\tSatisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
\u2022\tA GPA of 3.0 or higher.
\u2022\tAptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
\u2022\tStrong verbal and written communication skills.
\u2022\tHigh level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
\u2022\tMotivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
