accountant&#8217;s responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable<\/li><li>Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results<\/li><li>Analyze financial information and summarize financial status<\/li><li>Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending<\/li><li>Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant<\/li><li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures<\/li><li>Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers<\/li><li>Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process<\/li><li>Provide input into the department\u2019s goal-setting process<\/li><li>Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule<\/li><li>Assist with tax audits and tax returns<\/li><li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance<\/li><li>Plan, assign, and review staff\u2019s work<\/li><li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li><li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls<\/li><li>Ensure compliance with TRA principles<\/li><li>Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree or higher<\/strong>\u00a0in accounting<\/li><li><strong>MUST<\/strong>\u00a0be a CPA holder<\/li><li>Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant<\/li><li>Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures<\/li><li>In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles<\/li><li>Awareness of business trends<\/li><li>Familiarity with financial accounting statements<\/li><li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end\/year-end close process<\/li><li>Hands-on experience with accounting software packages like QuickBooks<\/li><li>Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables<\/li><li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li><li>Aptitude for numbers and
