The candidate should have several years of experience in financial management of projects, putting together bids for new work and negotiating and agreeing to contracts. The successful applicant will have a track record of success in overseeing projects from inception to completion, and identifying and mitigating risks involved. The ability to nurture relationships with clients throughout projects is crucial as well. This role involves developing and managing a cross-functional team with a variety of skills and experience, as well as collaborating with other departments. The successful applicant will have great communication, teamwork, leadership and analytical skills.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br>\u2022 Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships, mergers and new markets<br>\u2022 Analyse sales, marketing, finance and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximise growth<br>\u2022 Develop accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments<br>\u2022 Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients<br>\u2022 Manage daily operations, including employee training and development, contract negotiations and production planning<br>\u2022 Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations<br><br><strong>Qualifications and Skills<\/strong><br>\u2022 Must have at least 3 years of experience in business development, customer management, sales or related field<br>\u2022 Strong communication, sales and presentation skills<br>\u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritise projects<br>\u2022 Superb negotiation capabilities<br>\u2022 MBA preferred but not necessary with relevant experience<br>\u2022 Must be team oriented and results focused<br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ideal candidate should be excited about the opportunity to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities.
