Knowledge of key demographics and an innovative perspective on product development are important for this role. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br>\u2022 Familiarize yourself with the product line\u2019s components and its potential impact on the market as a whole<br>\u2022 Practice discretion when discussing the production roll-out and maintain confidentiality<br>\u2022 Oversee the product line\u2019s life cycle and anticipate any problems<br>\u2022 Evaluate market competition and position the product line so that it appeals to consumers<br>\u2022 Prepare launch events to coincide with consumers\u2019 buying patterns<br>\u2022 Write a go-to-market summary and introduce it to the rest of the department<br>\u2022 Identify and approach potential distributors<br>\u2022 Create mission statement for product launch and forecast performance in individual channels<br><br><strong>Qualifications and Skills<\/strong><br>\u2022 3+ years\u2019 product development experience in a supervisory capacity<br>\u2022 Knowledge of the market and industry<br>\u2022 Bachelor in marketing or business-related course is required (MBA preferred)<br>\u2022 Excellent networking skills, especially with regard to distribution channels and social media<br>\u2022 Commitment to 25 percent travel for the first year<br>\u2022 Strong motivational skills, especially when it comes to leading a team<br><br><br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Candidate will be responsible for bringing new product lines to consumers in an engaging, functional way, while opening up fresh distribution channels and collaborating with other departments.
