\u2022 Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
\u2022 Performing a risk assessment: Analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company
\u2022 Performing a risk evaluation: Evaluating the company\u2019s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements
\u2022 Establishing the level of risk, the company are willing to take
\u2022 Preparing risk management and insurance budgets
\u2022 Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
\u2022 Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders
\u2022 Creating business continuity plans to limit risks
\u2022 Implementing health and safety measures, and purchasing insurance
\u2022 Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
\u2022 Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims
\u2022 Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals
\u2022 Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
Required Skills\/Abilities:<\/strong>
\u2022 Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\u2022 Excellent mathematical and critical thinking skills.
\u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
\u2022 Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
\u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.

\u2022 Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics.
\u2022 At least three years of related work experience preferred.
