They will also responsible for monitoring site safety, coordinating with construction teams, and addressing any technical challenges to ensure the structural integrity of a civil infrastructure project.<br><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br>\u2022 Communicate with other engineers, foremen, and supervisors to ensure full understanding of the information provided<br>\u2022 Verify that pile installation aligns with engineering designs and drawings<br>\u2022 Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment<br>\u2022 Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders of a project<br>\u2022 Prepare method statements and risk assessments as required<br>\u2022 Ensure that additional works and\/or variations are notified for inclusion in the monthly valuations and provide comprehensive records<br>\u2022 Keep a full and accurate daily site diary<br>\u2022 Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and minimise ecological impact during the piling process<br>\u2022 Ensure that proper records are kept and carefully filed<br><br><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br>\u2022 Have experience surrounding piling and foundations or related background<br>\u2022 A degree in Civil Engineering<br>\u2022 Ability to work in a demanding environment in challenging conditions<br>\u2022 White Card essential<br>\u2022 Previous modern piling and foundation techniques including CFA, Bored and Driven<br>\u2022 Proficient with all engineering site paperwork<br>\u2022 Possess strong time management skills<br>\u2022 Have strong problem solving and effective communication skills<br><br><strong>Working Conditions<\/strong><br>\u2022 Work schedules depend on project objectives<br>\u2022 Will have to face a lot of client interaction, as well as other industry engineering-related professionals, to provide solutions<br>\u2022 Typically spend a significant portion on-site regardless of weather conditions<br><strong>\u2022 A Ugandan\/ Kenyan nationality is strongly advised to apply<br>\u2022 Candidate MUST be flexible to relocate to Uganda for the project.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of foundation piles at construction sites.
