{"id":500,"date":"2024-04-02T10:59:04","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T10:59:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/connectspace.co.tz\/res\/?p=500"},"modified":"2024-11-05T08:52:33","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T08:52:33","slug":"weighbridge-clerk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/connectspace.co.tz\/res\/weighbridge-clerk\/","title":{"rendered":"Weighbridge Clerk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Job Description<br><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br>1.Weighing Operations:<br>-Oversee and execute the weighing process of vehicles, containers, and goods on the weighbridge in compliance with established procedures.<br>-Ensure accurate and timely recording of weight measurements and relevant information.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2.Documentation:<br>-Record and maintain detailed and precise information on weighbridge tickets, invoices, and receipts.<br>-Collaborate with the operations team to ensure proper documentation for all weighed shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>3.Communication:<br>-Interact with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide information about the weighing process.<br>-Address inquiries, concerns, and discrepancies promptly and professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>4.Quality Control:<br>-Monitor the functionality of the weighbridge equipment, report any issues, and ensure timely maintenance.<br>-Conduct regular checks to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of weight measurements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>5.Compliance:<br>-Ensure all weighing operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.<br>-Work closely with regulatory bodies to stay informed about changes in standards and compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>6.Reporting:<br>-Generate and maintain reports on weight measurements, transactions, and related data as required by the organization and regulatory authorities.<br>-Provide regular updates to the Operations Superintendent on weighbridge activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>7.Customer Service:<br>-Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients, addressing their needs and concerns during the weighing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>8.Team Collaboration:<br>-Collaborate with other departments, especially operations, to facilitate smooth coordination of activities related to weighing operations.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br>-Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or transportation.<br>-Familiarity with weighbridge operations, equipment, and relevant regulations.<br>-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting.<br>-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>-Ability to work irregular hours based on the vessels&#8217; schedule.<br>-Proficiency in using weighbridge software and basic computer skills.<br>-Knowledge of health and safety practices related to weighbridge operations.<br><br>Reporting To: Operations Superintendent<br>Working Hours: Irregular due to the vessels&#8217;
