The Finance Manager will be accountable to the Director of Finance in the fulfilment of the requirements outlined in this job description.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><br> \u2022 Preparation of monthly\/quarterly financial and management reporting<br> \u2022 Preparation of annual accounts for audit and annual statutory reporting<br> \u2022 Management and ultimate responsibility for the Finance ERP<br> \u2022 Supervision and performance management of the Payroll Coordinator and Accountant <br>\u2022 Monitor the day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions <br>\u2022 Complete tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements <br>\u2022 Provide financial and analytical support to the Director of Finance and the Finance Committee <br>\u2022 Guide and coach department directors and program managers to enhance financial literacy, including guidance with compiling program budgets and forecasting <br>\u2022 Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function <br>\u2022 Oversee the recruitment, supervision and direction of program volunteers <br>\u2022 Support the Director of Finance in working with the Directors, General Manager &amp; CEO around budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability <br>\u2022 Performing adhoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation <br>\u2022 Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issues <br>\u2022 Working within company Values and Behaviors <br>\u2022 Recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers <br><br><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br>\u2022\tDegree qualified in commerce, business or accounting<br>\u2022\tExperience managing the annual audit and preparing annual financial statements<br>\u2022\tStrong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel<br>\u2022\tDemonstrated experience in managing a small-to-medium organisation\u2019s accounting, tax and statutory compliance requirements<br>\u2022\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups<br>\u2022\tSelf-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision <br>\u2022\t<strong>Previous experience in an NGO or the community sector is an ADDED advantage<\/strong><br>\u2022\tMembership of CPA<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role Description He\/She should be able to identify and implement systems, polices and processes for the Finance function which will improve financial monitoring, accountability and growth across the company.
