This role is pivotal in managing accurate and timely salary disbursements. You will be the go-to expert for payroll processes, ensuring compliance with ever-evolving tax laws and internal policies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Process monthly payroll for all employees, including salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and verify timekeeping and attendance records using advanced time management systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and analyze annual payroll reports to assess system reliability and efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) requirements by handling timely tax submissions, PAYE, and statutory contributions (e.g., NSSF, WCF, NHIF).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate payroll documentation including direct deposit records and payroll system data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct training sessions on effective use of time and attendance tracking systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the full payroll process\u2014from data entry and calculations to policy review\u2014to ensure accuracy and efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance payroll operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide end-to-end support for employees on all payroll-related matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as a payroll advisor and resource for other departments across the organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuously evaluate and improve payroll planning, compliance, and internal controls.<br><br><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in payroll or a similar role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRMS systems is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth understanding of local payroll laws and tax regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical problem-solver with the ability to make quick, sound decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committed to confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly detail-oriented, especially when dealing with large datasets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods (e.g., month-end, year-end).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with multinational companies and managing complex payroll structures is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join us.
