Responsibilities

\u2022\tNegotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
\u2022\tApprove the ordering of necessary goods and services
\u2022\tFinalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
\u2022\tExamine and test existing contracts
\u2022\tTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
\u2022\tCollaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
\u2022\tForesee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
\u2022\tExpect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
\u2022\tPerform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
\u2022\tControl spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Requirements and skills
\u2022\tBSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
\u2022\tProven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
\u2022\tKnowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in \u201creading\u201d the market
\u2022\tTalent in negotiations and networking
\u2022\tGood knowledge of supplier or third party management software
\u2022\tAptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
\u2022\tExperience in collecting and analyzing data
\u2022\tStrong leadership capabilities
