Responsibilities
\u2022\tUnderstand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
\u2022\tAttract interest in company\u2019s products and services by advertising, networking, developing relationships and obtaining feedback
\u2022\tDevelop and manage special projects as required, including research assignments, presentations and project documents for marketing and communications, go-to-market, and business development initiatives
\u2022\tAttend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
\u2022\tTake part in public speaking engagements in both a formal and informal setting
\u2022\tDevelop, manage and execute events and tradeshows to create business development and networking opportunities
\u2022\tMonitor incoming communications and leads for the agriculture practice
\u2022\tParticipate and assist with proposals, manage and coordinate the RFP process by building out the teams, identifying key concepts to be highlighted and presenting to the potential client
\u2022\tManage the creation of marketing collateral and promotional material to support the agriculture practice\u2019s marketing initiatives and related go-to-market and business development activities
\u2022\tMeasure and analyze the success of all marketing initiatives
\u2022\tBuild strong stakeholder relationships with key contacts (internal and external)
\u2022\tExtensive travel out of work station will be required
Requirements
\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
\u2022\t3 years of marketing experience with an agriculture background and\/or agriculture sector experience
\u2022\tKnowledge on inspection and testing of metals, minerals and solid fuel will be an added advantage as its company\u2019s core business
\u2022\tExperience in business to business marketing (background in professional services industry an asset)
\u2022\tProven experience with marketing strategy development and marketing plan development
\u2022\tAbility to manage and prioritize multiple diverse tasks and deliverables within one or more projects
\u2022\tBusiness acumen and business development experience
\u2022\tExcellent writing, communication and project management skills
\u2022\tStrong knowledge and experience with various social media tools
