The role involves close coordination with supply chain functions to guarantee timely raw material availability and product delivery, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to achieve set targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimize utilization of materials, manpower, and equipment to minimize costs and waste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the maintenance team on preventive maintenance scheduling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, enhancing technical and leadership capacity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain product standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with supply chain teams to align on raw materials, inventory, and deliveries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare, analyze, and present regular production reports and performance metrics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Production Engineering (Master\u2019s degree is an added advantage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a manufacturing\/production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and production planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience with process improvement frameworks (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Core Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technical expertise in production systems and machinery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and planning skills, with supply chain coordination experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lead teams effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role PurposeThe Senior Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
