Solar Field Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solar Field Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. The Solar Field Engineer will oversee on-site technical operations, ensure projects meet quality and safety standards, and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
– Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems at project sites
– Conduct site inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards
– Provide technical support to installation teams and contractors
– Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
– Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
– Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients during project execution
– Prepare technical reports, installation documentation, and project updates
– Assist in testing and commissioning solar energy systems before handover

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
– Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, or renewable energy projects
– Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical wiring, inverters, and energy storage systems
– Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
– Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as required
– Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills
– Experience with solar system design software
– Knowledge of local electrical regulations and renewable energy standards
– Certification in solar PV installation or electrical safety is an advantage
