Solar Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems. The Solar Technician will work closely with engineers and on-site teams to ensure solar systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
– Install solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and related electrical components
– Connect wiring and perform electrical and mechanical setup for solar systems
– Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems
– Test and commission solar PV systems on-site
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
– Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues
– Maintain accurate documentation of installation and maintenance activities

Requirements
– Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field
– Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation or electrical work
– Knowledge of electrical wiring, inverters, and solar components
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
– Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations
– Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills
– Experience with solar system testing and commissioning
– Electrical safety certification
– Familiarity with local electrical codes and renewable energy standards
