Storekeeper

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper looking for your next opportunity in Mwanza? We’re looking for someone to take full ownership of workshop inventory, from receiving to issuing materials, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely supply to project teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
– Receive, verify, and document deliveries of raw materials, tools, and spare parts
– Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel or inventory management software
– Store materials systematically for easy retrieval and safety compliance
– Issue materials upon request and update issuance logs accordingly
– Monitor stock levels and prepare timely replenishment requests
– Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
– Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free store environment
– Ensure proper tagging and safekeeping of tools and workshop equipment
– Collaborate with procurement, workshop supervisors, and project teams for timely supply
– Uphold all health, safety, and environmental procedures within the store area

🎓 Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
– Diploma in Procurement & Supply, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
– At least 2 years’ experience as a storekeeper in an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus
– Strong organizational and time-management skills
– High attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling
– Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items
– Good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili
– Knowledge of storekeeping best practices and safety standards
