We are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to support day-to-day logistics, procurement, and inventory operations. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, analytical, and proactive — with a passion for ensuring that goods and services move efficiently from suppliers to end-users.

This position plays a key role in supporting our client’s organization’s supply chain process, ensuring that operations run smoothly, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the procurement process by sourcing quotations, preparing purchase requests, and following up with suppliers.
– Support the coordination of logistics and transportation for goods delivery.
– Monitor inventory levels and update stock records to prevent shortages or excesses.
– Work with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
– Maintain up-to-date supplier information and assist in evaluating vendor performance.
– Prepare and update weekly and monthly reports on procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
– Ensure compliance with internal control systems and procurement policies.
– Coordinate with the finance department for timely payments and documentation.
– Track shipments and resolve delivery issues with transporters or suppliers.
– Participate in continuous process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
– 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
– Knowledge of PSPTB and/or CIPS qualifications is an added advantage.
– Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, or procurement tools.
– Good command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
– Strong communication and coordination skills.
– Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
