Role Purpose
To drive sales of mining machinery, equipment, and technical solutions by identifying customer needs, providing product expertise, and building long-term relationships with mining companies and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify and generate new business opportunities within the mining sector.
– Conduct site visits to mining locations to assess client needs and recommend suitable machinery (e.g., crushers, excavators, drilling rigs, loaders, pumps, conveyors, screening plants).
– Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to engineers and procurement teams.
– Prepare accurate technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
– Collaborate with engineering teams to customize equipment solutions.
– Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with mining operators and contractors.
– Coordinate after-sales support, spare parts supply, and troubleshooting.
– Monitor competitor products, pricing trends, and new technologies.
– Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Key Requirements
– Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, mining equipment sales, heavy machinery sales, or industrial equipment.
– Strong technical understanding of mining machinery and equipment performance.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
– Ability to travel frequently and relocate temporarily to mining sites as needed.
– Target-driven, self-motivated, and confident in field operations.
