Job Overview:

The Truck Pusher will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dispatch of trucks, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. The Truck Pusher will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth logistics operations and supporting the overall success of our transportation team.

Responsibilities:
1.Dispatch Coordination:
-Schedule and coordinate the dispatch of trucks based on delivery requirements and timelines.
-Assign routes to drivers, considering factors such as distance, delivery deadlines, and vehicle capacity.


2.Team Supervision:
-Lead and supervise a team of truck drivers and logistics personnel.
-Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team’s efficiency and adherence to operational standards.


3.Communication:
-Maintain effective communication with truck drivers, providing clear instructions and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during transportation.
-Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth handovers of information.


4.Route Optimization:
-Optimize truck routes to enhance efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and minimize transportation time.


5.Monitoring and Reporting:
-Monitor the progress of truck movements and provide real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
-Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to truck dispatch and logistics operations.


6.Problem Resolution:
-Address and resolve issues that may impact the timely delivery of goods, such as traffic delays, mechanical problems, or other logistical challenges.


7.Compliance and Safety:
-Ensure that all truck movements comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or a similar role.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education:
